The PACIFIC TSUNAMI WARNING CENTER (PTWC) provides the official tsunami warnings for the state of Hawai'i. Click here for PTWC messages.
EACH COUNTY is responsible for TSUNAMI EVACUATIONS, and issuing the ALL-CLEAR.
The Hawai'i Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA) coordinates the statewide sounding of the first siren. Subsequent siren soundings are the responsibility of each County.
If Evacuation is necessary, the sirens will be activated. For current information, turn on and listen to local radio or television broadcasts
